Industrial shrink packaging: how should you pack the merchandise?

Industrial shrink packaging has the great advantage of being a fireproof material, that is, it is resistant to heat and fire, made up of polyethylene and adherent rubber.
That is why this type of packaging is one of the most used by the industrial sector for the transport of goods, and this is thanks to its great capacity for shrink-wrapping the load, regardless of its irregularity.
The main reasons why industrial packaging companies opt for shrink packaging are:
· The resistance and flexibility, adapts to any shape that the load may have.
· The reduction of the friction of the load.
· The impermeability.
· The protection that it grants to the merchandise from UVA rays.
· Protects cargo both indoors and outdoors.
All these are essential characteristics to take into account so that the load does not suffer damage or corrosion during its transportation process. Now, do you know how the merchandise should be packed?
Parallel to the importance of the good quality of the packaging, it is also important to take into account different phases to pack the merchandise in a safe way:
Phase 1: Cover the merchandise with some malleable material , such as plastic wrap, in this way it will have a layer that will prevent damage to it in the different stages of its transport and handling.
Phase 2: Secure the load by using specialized padding to protect the load, such as: cardboard corners, porex, FOAM, etc. This will help protect the merchandise from possible goals, or provide thermal insulation, among other characteristics.
Phase 3: Reinforce the closure of the merchandise , it must be verified that the merchandise is completely sealed, reinforcing it especially at the corners and closure points, special adhesive tape can be used for this.
Phase 4: Group the merchandise on specialized pallets to facilitate its storage and transportation and use a good material to pack said load, such as industrial shrink packaging due to the great characteristics it offers.

NIMF-15 regulation for heat treatment of wood in foreign trade
Heat treatment of wood
The heat treatment of wood is a critical process used to eliminate pests and diseases, as well as to comply with international regulations governing the trade of wood abroad. The NIMF-15 standard, in particular, establishes the requirements for the heat treatment of wood used in packaging used in international trade.

In this sense, heat sealing for wood packaging is an effective technique to ensure that these regulations are met. By using this technique, the risk of pests and diseases entering the destination country is avoided, which could lead to serious economic and environmental consequences.
It is important to mention that heat sealing for wood packaging is a process that must be carried out by trained professionals and with the appropriate machinery to guarantee its correct application.
